KIRBY QUIZ


Are you a Kirby fan? (Duh.) Just answer the following questions and you and other people can judge. (What gives you guys the right to judge? If you don't already know I'm a Kirby fan, then you don't really know me at all, do you?)

1. When did you first find out about the Kirby series? Naturally, I’m talking about the one Nintendo made.
Uhhh... Truth be told, I can't remember when I first found out about Kirby... I remember that I used to think that his hands were his ears, though.

2. Interesting. What’s the first Kirby game you played?
Kirby's Dreamland! My sister got it, and then I borrowed it from her.

3. What’s the most recent one you’ve played?
Kirby Super Star Ultra! I haven't played the original Super Star, and I've been wanting to. So the remake coming out was a real treat.

4. Is there a Kirby game that you’ve been wanting to play?
My Amazing Mirror game. It disappeared on me AGAIN!

5. Enough about the games for now. Have you watched the anime? It’s called Hoshi no Kaabii (Kirby of the Stars) in Japanese, and Kirby: Right back at ya! in the dub. (Although, I wouldn’t recommend the dub…
Despite a few name changes on characters I don't care about (Fumu) and Meta Knight's annoying Eric Stuart voice, the dub wasn't really all that different from the original.


6. What did you think of it if you have? (Leave this question blank if you haven’t watched it.)
It was okay. It was a lot cuter than the other anime out there.


7. Meta Knight is epic, isn’t he?
Hell no.


8. But weren’t you surprised when you saw his actual face for the first time?
...It actually took me a while to catch on.

9. Who’s your favourite character in general? I’m referring to the recurring characters. (People like Kirby, Meta Knight and Dedede. You can also pick from the anime if you’ve watched it.)
Kirby of course!

10. Who’s your favourite antagonist/boss character? Most of them are exclusive to a game, but you can answer with whoever you want.
Darroache. He's so much cooler than Meta Knight; he needs to be the recurring character instead.

11. Who do you think was the easiest boss? (In general, out of all the Kirby games you played.)
Bonkers and Meta Knight. Both are very predictable.

12. Who do you think was the easiest final boss? (In general, out of all the Kirby games you played.)
Nightmare's final form. Most of the time you just have to duck, and wait for him to be vulnerable.


13. Who do you think was the HARDEST boss?
Oh man. DX Uhhhh, Kirby 64, I guess. Or Drawcia. Both of them took me a while.

14. Wait for it: who do you think was the hardest FINAL boss?
...But I just answered this in the last question.

15. In general, do you enjoy playing Kirby games?
Very much. They give you this warm fuzzy feeling.

16. In general, what do you think of all the regular enemies? (Mini-bosses included.)
Most of them are really cute. Waddle Dees, Chip, Un-pissed Scarfies... I want to hug them all.

17. You were wondering when this was coming, weren’t you? Which Kirby games have you played?

18. Which is your favourite Kirby game?

Amazing Mirror. Even though it lacks Dedede, I enjoyed Kicking Meta Knight's (excuse me, Dark Meta Knight) ass more than once. Plus I've had so much fun playing this game in multiplayer mode. ♥

19. If that new Kirby game for the Wii was to be released, would you buy it?
The day it came out.

20. What do you think of the music of the Kirby games in general?
It's over all very cute. If somebody made Orchestra/Metal versions of all the melodies, I'd buy that CD.

THE LAST LAST QUESTION: Isn’t Kirby’s ability to inhale, absorb and copy abilities innovative? Would you have thought of that? Be honest.
Nope, I never would have thought of that. Miyamoto wouldn't have thought of it either. (He must have been on drugs while making Mario, I swear.)

THE TRUE LAST QUESTION: Are there any copy abilities YOU have made up or would like to see?
PIRATE. KIRBY. This is a must. I should probably write a long letter to Nintendo/Hal Labs/Flagship as to why this needs to be an in-game copy ability, not just some cute cut-scene sprite.
